The “Dunkirk Warriors” of 54 Squadron – Battle of Britain – July 1940

54 Squadron pilots, May 1941, gather round a Supermarine Spitfire Mark IIA, Rochford, Essex. On the wing sits their commanding officer, Squadron Leader, R F Boyd, with the squadron mascot "Crash".
